Stormy Soiree ~ Rising Waters > Rebuilding Dollars On February 2

Please join special Birthday Guests Patti Komline and Sue Minter at this great event featuring “The Knee Jerks.”

The Stormy Soiree is at the Capitol Plaza Hotel & Conference Center on State Street in Montpelier, and begins at 8pm. Prices are:

All proceeds go to the VT Irene Flood Relief Fund and will go to help Vermont’s businesses recover from Tropical Storm Irene.

Harpoon Brewery Supports VT Irene Fund In December

December is now underway, and so is the Harpoon Brewery fundraiser for the Vermont Irene Flood Relief Fund.

As we told you last month, Harpoon Brewery has offered to donate $1 for each case of its beer sold in convenience stores across Vermont during the month of December. The proceeds will support our work here at the Vermont Irene Flood Relief Fund.

So keep an eye out for your favorite Harpoon products, and drink heartily (but safely!) in support of small businesses all across Vermont.

Women Business Owners Network To Benefit VT Irene Fund

The Women Business Owners Network (WBON) is reaching out to Irene victims at its 2011 Fall Conference in Burlington this Thursday.

The Conference is hosting its first annual WBON “Artist’s Way” exhibit, showcasing the talents of painters, sculptors, photographers and other members who make their living through their art.

WBON is asking any member who sells a piece during the Conference to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Vermont Irene Flood Relief Fund.

Mountainfilm on Tour Benefits Fund On Stop In Fairfield, Conn. On October 25.

Telluride’s Mountainfilm on Tour is dedicated to educating and inspiring audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations with sustaining.

Mountainfilm will be visiting the Fairfield Community Theater in Fairfield, Connecticut on Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30pm and are generously donating all proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction to the Vermont Irene Flood Relief Fund and the Vermont Foodbank.

Support the VT Irene Flood Relief Fund at the SmartWool Ridiculissima In Burlington Tomorrow!

Eastern Mountain Sports’ 2011 Nor’easter Festival promises a weekend of fun and sport for the Champlain Valley. And if you want to support the Vermont Irene Flood Relief Fund, the organizers of the event have a fabulously fun event planned for Friday in Burlington.

The SmartWool Ridiculissima presented Merrell– Part road race, part Halloween and ALL fun! Put on your wildest, most outrageous costume and get geared up to run through downtown Burlington in what promises to be the best road race you’ll ever run wearing a banana suit…or pirate outfit…or scuba gear…or whatever you come up with!

This event is FREE to all participants and benefits the VT Irene Flood Relief Fund. A donation of $15 per runner will be made by SmartWool and Merrell, so the more runners the bigger the donation! Round up some friends and have some fun for a great cause!

The SmartWool Ridiculissima begins at City Hall at 4:30pm, Friday Sept. 23rd and ends at Waterfront Park. (.7 miles)
